What a bizarre holding. I don't really see it being special for Kitsune honor since they shouldn't want to bow a 5G holding to use their stronghold. If it was an Open, it would be pretty darn amazing, but as a Limited it's only passable.

Aye, but what's the point of it being a Forest? Kitsune honor gets to use the ability on this... maybe twice? Then it's "just another Forest Castle."

Most non-lion honor runners will run *3 this. It will bring Crane and Dragon on par with Lion (barring other previews).

Running this holding as an honor deck is "planning to lose." It only works if you are losing. Most match-ups, this will be dead compared to a better utility 6-for-5 holding. Will Crane run this for a single match? It is a very cumbersome card to run as meta. It is different for Dragon, and much different for Crab and Kitsune in this regard.

Surely a card to be heavily mulled-over for spider decks once Den of Iniquity hits on May 14th... For Lion though (even kitsu and/or para honour): unlikely huh?

Lions have to be particulary careful when selecting their 6G holdings. Cranes and Dragons have better things to put. For Kitsune (as said above) this is waste of time.
I think this is Kaiu switch invention. Still a Castle, you do not have +1 to province strenght but helps to outrun those pesky honor runners.

Actually Kitsune is So Weak that even this as a support should seems amazing for them..
