Second City Dojo seems great. Govern the Land is nice too. Is there any deck that doesn't want three Second City Dojo in it? 2 gold for a holding that produces 2 gold and has a limited action: "Destroy this card and draw a card." I am just getting back in. Is there a special "dojo" rule I need to know.

The other card allows you to grab a holding from discard, pay full price for it and put in into play bowed. OR do this for a follower or item, as a battle action or open, and attach it to a personality. Seems good and has a 4 focus value.

What do you think?

Second City Dojo is good for that final push but it will fight for space with the other utility holdings. I'd probably try dropping my second Peddler for a Second City Dojo but I'm not sure that I'd want to drop the Chugo Seido etc yet.#

Govern the Land is blah unless you're playing Kalani's Landing when it becomes bonkers as cards 5-7 that produce free holdings. It doesn't really do anything, costs tempo to attach during battle and could just be an attachment if you wanted more of them.

second city dojo is good, but as was said above: is it better than peddler? no. is it better than chugo seido? no. is it better than seeker's temple? rarely. is it better than ageless shrine? maybe. is it better than stolen merchandise? maybe. is it better than venerable master? maybe. it's certainly not replacing remote village or copper mine :P

there's a ton of great holdings at the moment so, while every deck may want that holding, it might not make the cut over the other options.

i can see some utility in the fate card (buy back the destructible holdings like chugo, seeker's temple, ven master, family library, etc) but it's really only worth the slot if you're able to utilize both abilities.

If I was to include some attachments in the deck (Clan Standard and Satoshi's Dual Warfans spring to mind) then I would seriously consider slotting in Second City Dojo for Ageless Shrine and putting Govern the Land in my deck. A couple good attachments and 8 holdings that destroy themselves mean it should always be useful.

I am certainly going to work it in. My thinking is that most people see only 25-33% of their fate deck in any given game. I am using Eternal Victory, dual war fans and whatnot, along with these dojo in the hope of seeing 50% of mine. I think using the gold until you don't need it anymore and then drawing cards, is a potentially good thing and gives one a bit of a leg up on other clans who don't have so much card draw. And if they do have a lot, it lessens their advantage. We shall see. :)
