With the Spider clan becoming a Great clan who are our enemies? It seems the spider have no great love of the lion. So are they are enemies?
Who are the Lion clans allies? Perhaps we should seek alliances from other clans to offset the spider's influence. With the spider clan being inside of rokugan it changes the dynamic of the politic's.

At this point in time, I believe we are largely waiting for the evolution of events during the time skip. We know where we stood at the end of the Celestial Edition arc (for the most part), but there is a lot of empty space in the 25 intervening years before the beginning of Emperor Edition. I'm sure that the backstory will be laid out as time passes so that we can learn what changed about our relationships with other clans in the interim.
