Trimmed back some pushpins. The old thread about strongholds that became a discussion about leaks has had its pushpin revoked, since we have official rules regarding them, now. For those that forgot, the rule is: "Don't do it."
Our moderator staff has diminished. I contacted the older mods and most of them have chosen to retire and hang up their extra responsibilities since time has passed and life caught up with most of them.
I shined my nametag a bit. It's red, now. Probably just an infection.
Now that things have calmed down a tad and we're back to normal, I wanted to bring up something unrelated, but important.
I acknowledge that I've been a pain in the past. I've not always been the best behaved fellow at times. I've been rude, I've let my temper get the best of me, and I've quite often said things I shouldn't have. In short, I've been part of the problem. A big part. I'm sorry. That's not what I've wanted. I like to argue, but I think most folks spotted that miles away, and it took me a long time to understand when to walk away and drop something. For those that have been around long enough, you might remember that I was far worse "back in the day" when I felt the need to stand up and stump for any perceived injustice towards my skewed view of card balance when I only had 1-2 decks at a time and carried the "Worf'd" banner for almost every Lion story.
But those days are largely gone. The Lion have been sitting pretty damn strong for two arcs. Lion-centric stories have by and large portrayed us rather awesome for years. I learned how to shut up instead of fanning flames, despite noteworthy (poor) decisions in this regard that I hope were the exception when they were previously the rule. While I love a good debate, I'm done with "arguing." I've shamelessly engaged in ass-hattery and that is likewise ended. I've been a part of the problem and now I want to be part of the solution.
In short: I'm sorry for how I've behaved in the past. I'll work hard to ensure that I don't embarrass any of you again.

I know i haven't been on the forums much since i joined in 06 but i have never noticed you being a pain, its good to argue alittle and thanks for taking over and keeping this great site going strong

Im still one to see if someone follows through with it in person, and you have to expect people to be reasonably skeptical, but this is a step in the right direction.
