Looking over our Tacticians and the Strategies we have available/identified as well as our new SH, what are the 10 Strategies you like for this type of deck?
Our Tacticians:
Akodo Kamina - 3/4 for 7/7/3 - bow or discard to give someone +4 force Akodo Kobi exp- 4/5 for 0/9/3 - The Resurectionist Akodo Tsudoken - 5/3 for 7/9/4 - Battle - unbow, bow or straighten Ikoma Ayumu - 3/4 for 7/7/3 - Reaction - announce Tact actions and unbow if bowed
So we have a guy who bows or discards for his action, a unique who unbows and unbows others, a guy who unbows when tact actions are anounced. So we may get away with some "bow to do X" actions.
Here are the Tactician specific cards: Consideration Control the Board Dislodge the Foe Gaining Experience Of One Instant The Spirit of Knowledge
Of these I like: Consideration Control the Board Dislodge the Foe
If they don't give us any other tacticians then we may be forced to use The Spirit of Knowledge in the short term.
Now the big queston. If you only had 21 other slots to fill out of the following, which would you go with and why? Brothers in Battle - pkill Broken Alliance - recussion and attachment hate Sundering Strike - attachment hate Firm Censure - bow tech Reckless Rush - bow/destroy tech Disgraceful Conduct - Bow tech Entrenched Position - bow tech Revenge - bow tech Unorthodox Attack - Bow tech Creating Order - straighten/remove force penalties War of Honor - hand refill
Forging Destiny - send home Honor Never Falls - unbow tech Your Clan Needs You

With this much card draw, what would I run in the Fate? 5x Rings and 4x String of Victories. Alex

Quote: 4 Consideration fyi eternal victory dojo says: Your deck may include four copies each of one or two non-Unique Strategies with Battle abilities. you won't be able to include 4x consideration unfortunately. also i have to say it: we should probably wait and see what's in the base set before we do this. for example (and mind you, i don't see this happening) if they reprint superior strategist it completely throws all your advance deckbuilding out the window. again, while i don't see that specific card being reprinted, i don't think it's a stretch to guess that there may be a couple of game changers in the base set.

Doh! Thanks for the catch on Consideration. Yeah I know its way early, but I can't help but try to get a feel for the box lol

Just curious as to why you don't like them. force rarely wins games, especially when you have to burn gold and multiple fate cards to get it. it doesn't trigger CC now and won't trigger evd when it comes out. the ability is purely "tactician" but worse. if i wanted the force i could just as efficiently buy a shunori non-exp (same price) and he allows me to play my tactical fate cards and when he uses the force pump ability he actually triggers my box. the only thing this follower enables is dropping your fate cards for force (which your tacticians can already do, along with playing trait dependent cards) and if your best option for your cards is to dump them for force, you're probably not running the right cards it is useful in a blitz build, but blitz builds are fragile, draw dependent, and easy to meta. doesn't sounds like a good combination, does it?

ok...so dump for a different follower or slot out for an actions.
There is still plenty of naked hate with just the two expansions and FL. If the tactician deck going to be fast enough to go naked?

Naked hate doesn't hurt as much as you think.
Tacticians can still run Hiroshi's Legion and Farmlands. For other followers you can try the ashigaru one that doubles up for free.

Thanks GT. That a more diplomatic way then I would have said but will use it next time someone ask I also agree you may want to table this discussion till we see who and what we get in the base set. But we will really want to talk about it then. Dang this is worst than waiting on Christmas as a kid

Quote: Dang this is worst than waiting on Christmas as a kid it really is. i'm really looking forward to the new arc and can't wait for it to start i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one. i think it highlights how releasing the right amount of information at the right times can really build a lot of positive hype.

I didnt realize my question regarding the follower was so insulting as to require you to be diplomatic. While i understand you want cards in that directly affect opposing personalities i dont think the card deserved such a negative view.

While I have strong feelings about the card and how bad it is I wouldn't go so far as to say something harsh to you. I am certain you can find a better follower to run though.

The follower is like Tactical Advisors. http://www.roku-mart.com/store/product/tactical-advisorsThe either follower would have not been half bad pre-nerf CC if you could replace the card lost to do the action on the follower. JEV ruins this too.
