Perfect for the announced Reverence Theme.
I can just hope not to see cards like Claw & Shell.
Until EE released, I don't think it would be very interesting to sacrifice 10G for a shugenja producting token who take all the meta. Off course, while they take Claw you don't take it on a Kasei, but nonetheless, 10G is very expensive.

I feel no remorse border keeping him.
10G for the Lion is straight unreasonable.. though the 4G Box Kitsu Graves comes to mind lol, still I'd take our Clan Champion over him anyday

10G, even for someone who gives you 2F Ancesotrs for free every turn, it's too expensive. I can't imagine running 2 or 3 of these, alongside with the big uniques needed. Also, If you manage to put them into a deck and buy them...10G forces you to let them stay at home and never, NEVER risk their lives to perform their battle. And thats a huge investment for just an Ancestor breeder.
Of course I'll give it a try, but I think the price will be a major drawback.

The question is: will there be uniques to play in the Kitsu Reverence ? If we got a random Lion champion box card and the theme is running out of full shugenja tricks, you will spare slot of unique expensive personnality for a good breeder shugenja.
But that's all speculative.

Looking at the EE legal gold scheme we'll have I think this guy is pretty solid.
For 10 gold (stronghold + 3 other holdings inc border keep) you'll get: 4 family honor, 1+ spud-defender, 3+ force, a kill action, battle honor gain
...that's pretty good in my estimation... Also bare in mind that the honor vs honor run in EE will favor lion again (at least in the first few turns)...
EDITED for overly eager (therefore incorrect/mad) posting

I really like this guy, but I wish his battle had "Even if he is not at the current battlefield". Still I'm planning on running the kitsu theme like everyone else, so I'll certainly try to make it work.

Very solid, but yeah, a little overpriced for the current arc. We'll have to wait and see what the box does to judge him.

Upon seeing these 2 shugenjas previewed, let me make a wild guess (and im hoping for it), our reverence box in EE will have a trait/ability that lets our shugenja perform their battle action even if they are not at the current battlefield.
