With the revealed cards I'm begining to think that Dueling Decks and Enlightenment Decks are going to have to try alot harder to become victorious at the dueling game. With the Guidance, this, and the black pear, and the spell from BtD, that's +4 Chi

It was already stated that bullox it is that ANY Duelist can beat Anyone without the Duelist trait. Unless your running All 4FV, even then the Ambessy of the Crane can still beat you. So I think High Chi for your important guys is going to be something of a theme from what I can see.

Akodo Kobi who now stands with 6 Chi if we give her this item.
I'm not sure if the Black Pearl is worth it on her though.
7 Chi though with both.

You could always use the No Daichi that gives +2 Chi to protect from duels.....
