...bleh... yeah cool makes babies and helps Kitsu yeah in the Halls of Memory you can have a +10F weapon for 8G but who are you going to put it on? whoever has it, should get to battle the thing will be broken immediately either by Reckless Rush or something else.
in any other deck the question is not who but why? it's 5 maybe 6F for 8G. and it loses tempo to make a baby not good. again Lion gets shafted. Spider still maintains the best Celestial Weapon for now.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on this. I don't think I am.
Paragon decks: This is dumb force. Scout decks: Dumb force. Tactician decks: Dumb force. Kitsu decks: A very expensive ancestor maker that will be unusable most of the time. Off-defending gives your opponent a shot at opposed move-in actions instead of only unopposed once. Also, a somewhat expensive 2 honor?

It is not. Not even in offensive Kitsu. C'mon, guys, Unicorn and Spider have swords that reduces enemy presence, and Lion has one that ... in fact does nothing.

I'm kind of glad they didn't really make an effort to make it playable. It was always going to be 8 gold, and 8 gold is just too hard to justify for us.
Kitsu *may* want to try it out to build up their numbers, but I think the new Kitsu pretty much mitigates the need to do that.

Could you declare a Attack, assign no attackers.
Then with this Sword and the new Kitsu create 4 Spirit Ancestors at some random Battlefield and then force pump with other Shuggie and take a Province?
It does not say anywhere that you need presence right?

The action on the sword does not ignore Location and the stronghold only lets us do it with base abilities, alas.

Meh, i will try it in my scout deck where i run on the hunt, but it prob wont last. Still over all very impressed and as was pointed out its 8 gold soit would have had to be broken to really want to run it.

hmm...I don't know...with the new shuga I kind of like the potential of this item. It gains 2 hour so doesn't hurt HoM decks (outside of the cost of course). If we ever get a Ken'o style action again this awesome! okay wishful thinking there lol.

Hrm. Well, I do like it. However...not sure it's in the same league as the ones we've already seen. If the action were Limited or Open instead of Battle, it'd be a gigantically useful Item. Since it's a Battle action...it's risky to use, at all. We'll have to test it out, honestly, but I'm not overwhelmingly impressed at the moment.

The only thing I like about this card is that the personality created does remain there 'till the end of times.

+3 force at battle after using the BA. Not sure if I love it but may work in the Tact decks if we get some good lion attachment love.
