he's okay. Not overly excited but not a horrible card.

I guess he'd be OP if he could target himself with his action.

I like him... but I don't think that HR was necessary. His action is largely better than most 8G cavalry personalities, but only in its versatility. Nijigun is a peer for him. He reminds me of Hiroyuki.
He's pretty good, but perhaps not quite enough to justify 8GC and 12HR. We'll see. He doesn't make me go "hot damn," which is a bad sign for a daimyo.

Thats strange as I thought of hiroyuki as well, ha , I agree when i saw is traits my eyes got huge, than see the ability and was like wha.. But still nice ph and duel ability hes pretty cool, although I see him going in a calvary marshalling field experiment.
he needed scout bad.

I like the ability a lot. The 12 HR seems to be saying he's not a turn 2 or 3 peep, which his ability made sure of already.
At present I think he gets a slot in Paragon due to that deck still being short of bodies. That he adds another clunky HR/GC to the emergent lion cavalry theme is just sad.

I'm just not feeling it. I want to be enthused about this guy but I don't see him competing on equal terms for slots against Hotako or even Kasei XP. If he could've targeted himself with his ability or created an honor gain it might have been a horse race. At 3-holdings, though, you're going to need more than 4F, off-theme Cavalry, and a send-home ability. He's a 4PH Paragon, but that's not going to cut it. He needed Tactician or an outright kill action (Melee or Ranged Attack) at that price as a unique.

Hrm. Pretty good...not fantastic, but good. He might see some inclusion into Paragon builds, but it won't be a widespread inclusion. It's pretty good...not great.
