No pro active battle but a potential 8F if you play with some negation (Iron Will, the new Bushido Virtue).
He can be a good match for the last slot of a Paragon line up.
He is interesting. Not as good as other paragon we still have, but interesting.

He has the worst kind of protection, dumb force, but could be interesting. Having a Paragon that can suddenly grow to 8F to evade Rangeds and force comparision effects is tricky. Surely he'll be the first to die or to be bowed, but that's a nice role in a Paragon deck (specially with Iron Will and the new Courage).

That's the point I think.
Will the opponent risk himself to target him knowing the Paragon can react by cancelling, and give us a free 4F pump on this personnality? Or will he just let it go and target another guy? That would let us have a solid Paragon to use for keyword related fate strategies.

He's slightly better than if he had "All ranged attacks targeting this personality have -4 Force" as a trait, but still he's not very impressive. That said, I'm not new to the idea of having to run some blank dudes at the beginning of an arc for keyword or stat support. Brothers in Battle helps easy the sting of that situation a little.
Still, with such an awesome PH, art, and a great flavor text blurb I really wish he'd be a shining star instead of start-of-arc filler. Get this man an XP version, stat!

- Marty Lund Don't know if that is such a great idea. Look what they did to Kasei. Big dumb potential force, not really sold. In the current arc we have better, later we won't and will be forced to play him. . .
