Setting Sun Strike for Monk? Not terrible. Not sure how I feel about the restrictions, though. Early game it could be a total loser, late game it may not matter.

I think you may be confusing names, as SSS is a reaction that gives +3 to Hero and straightens.

Not sure if a card like this was needed by monks...efectively a one turn armor of the ryu for free. Early game can give you the Ring of Earth...
